What you are considering is a beautiful apartment on the waterfront of Bellhouse Bay at the entrance to Active Pass on Galiano Island. It has it's own private entrance and is totally self-contained with a full kitchen. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with a queen and set of bunks. You will have two of your own personal, private decks, one facing east to the water, and the other, with barbecue, facing west.
The location is sunny from dawn to dusk, and the beach is readily accessible with walk-on low bank sandstone and a sand bar during low tide. There is also a sauna at the water's edge for your use.
The property has extensive perennial flower beds, as The George is also home to Stella's Farm Cut Flowers.
There can be a lot of activity in Active Pass including passing ships and marine life. Be sure to bring your binoculars as there are frequently seals, otters, and sea lions in the water and eagles in the air. This is also the route often used by the Orca Whales!
